I have been coming to this school for years now and whenever I come I'm always greeted by smiling faces. The staff remembers my kids names, what they like and my kids just love it here! I can't seem to ever get them to leave! Best daycare center ever!

I moved back to the area and needed day care for my daughter immediately. I meet with the director Kim, who provided me details about the facility, the daily agenda of the class my daughter would be in as well as a tour of the facility. She made me feel so comfortable, I knew I was confident this was the child care facility for my lil one. She is awesome the staff is awesome and my daughter walk in and out of COA every day with a smile on her face. Knowing she is happy and is in fantastic hands makes me very happy. I would and have recommended this place to anyone I know who needs child care for their children.

My grand daughter is part of your daycare family. I say family because every time I talk to her or see her she tells me about all the great friends she has and talks about her teacher Brianna. I really love that you offer the cameras because I get to watch her throughout the day and I love watching them in such a great routine. Everything is so organized and clean. I love that they bring home things that they do throughout the day. I also love that my son and daughter in law are able to have such a reliable place to trust with their whole world and not have to worry about her and knowing she is also being educated just not being babysat. I would highly recommend Children of America. Thank you for taking great care of my world also!

This academy has been nothing but awesome since my boys started attending here. From the director Mrs. Kim down to all of the teachers. My son learned to spell his name on his 5th day of attending. They communicate with me at all times and are very helpful when I have questions or concerns. Definitely would recommend this school.

My three grandson started going to Doc Stone COA in Oct 2017. Transitioning from a home base day care to a center was challenging for them. I had several one on one with their teachers for the first two weeks until we were all in sink with their adjustment to the center. One of the main reasons I choose this center was because of the centers hours and because they have a “live” camera called Always Close By (there is an additional fee for this service) to see their day. The teachers are very personable and caring. All my grands have made HUGE strides since being here. Now the negatives - The cameras do not show the entire classroom areas or the main outside play area and the camera tend to have connection issues throughout the day where the cameras appear black. In January 2018, a policy went into effect capping how many hours your child could be there (10) or face a $20 per child fee, even if its 1min over 10 hrs. This policy is truly unfair because in the DMV area no parent can drop off and be back in 10hrs to pick their child up. If the centers core hours are from 5:30am-7pm how can an additional fee be required if you are within these hours? Because of this policy I’ve had to make HUGE adjustments for care. Kim, Amber, Phyllis, Von, Lexi, Bri, Kesha, and Jordan have made me, my grands, and their mom feel like family and we consider them as family too. Choosing this center is one of the best decisions I could have made for my grands. I would recommend this center.

My son has been going to this Day Care going on 3 years and we are VERY happy with the experience we have. The staff are professional and responsive and still make us feel like family every day we enter the doors. They have a great summer program that gives my son plenty of learning experiences while still balanced with fantastic fun and terrific field trips. They are also on the leading edge of what our children need in terms of education and challenges that our kids face these days. Doc Stone Children of America fits the needs of both me AND my son. I couldn't have researched a better place to have entrusted my child to. Thanks COA for giving us a home away from home.

Since moving to COA Doc Stone Commons, we couldn't be happier with the education and care that our child is receiving. The Director, Assistant Director and all staff we have the pleasure of interacting with are always professional, enthusiastic, encouraging and helpful at all times. We are really happy here. The teachers are great. They are nurturing and there class environment is calm every time you walk in. They have control of their class and the kids look happy. As an educator I am proud and glad to say my child goes here. The administrators are great and will work with the parents. Overall great school !!!
